In the Washington Report, Bob Connelly talks to the two founders of Mothers Against Jesse Helms (MAJIC). Learn why the mothers decided to oppose Jesse Helms' attacks on those with HIV and AIDS as well as the gay community.

In the Gay Agenda, a video that spotlights successful efforts of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), as they struggle to help gay and lesbian at risk students to stay safe and in school. GLSEN Executive Director and teacher Kevin Jennings, who has been interviewed by ABC's "20/20," explains to parents and teachers how to create a safer and more effective educational environment for lesbian and gay students.

1998 marks the passing of one decade since the first panel of the AIDS Memorial Quilt was sewn. Closing the show, a special video tribute looks back at the Aids Memorial Quilt, who's panels immortalize those who lost their lives to AIDS. At the last quilt display on the mall in Washington, DC GNN interviewed two of the quilt's display organizers, Frank Spector and Greg Lougliani. Then, GNN followed a new quilt panel as it was added to the thousands that came before it.
