Holly Landau joined the Gay News Network as co-anchor in 1995 for the show's second episode. Soon after joining the news team, Holly took on additional responsibilities as a reporter and field producer.

Holly reported on stories ranging from Australian sodomy cases to gay pig farmers and the Philadelphia to DC AIDS ride. Her production and voice over skills on the AIDS Walk Washington segment won a Telly Award for Outstanding Editing in 1996. Among those personalities that Holly has interviewed for GNN are Colonel Margarethe Cammermeyer the highest ranking woman to be discharged from military service for being gay, Candace Gingrich, Cathy Renna from GLAAD, west coast band Extra Fancy's lead singer Brian Grillo and Sandra Gillis from PFLAG.

Holly's professional career has given her extensive experience in the entertainment world, including writing, acting, directing and producing. Her skills have led her to work in television commercials, feature films, plays, and performance pieces. She attended art school in London, England and film school in New York and has taught both public speaking and writing workshops.

In addition to her professional work Holly is actively involved in community service. She has helped the fundraising efforts of the Lesbian Avengers. Holly has supported the gay and lesbian community by producing pro-bono video public service announcements and educational videos for the Whitman Walker Clinic, AIDS Ride, the Names Project, Hung Jury. Holly has also volunteered with the Delray Green Team -- a neighborhood clean up project for children.
