In the past, this page has defined me mostly as how other people see me. And that's relatively important, but as I was sitting here thinking about it, it's not the be-all and end-all.
So, then, who am I? What do I do with my life?
I'm married to a wonderful woman who I both love and care for very much and probably don't tell her often enough. (Yes, it's possible to care about somebody and not love them, and vice versa, I think. ) I'm not going to go too much more into her details, as she doesn't like "publicity". Can't blame her, really.
I have a pair of wonderful daughters who I adore and probably go on a little too much about. Again, however, I won't do that here for privacy reasons.
I scuba dive. I take pictures while I'm down there, and maybe one of these days I'll post them. I had stopped diving for a long while due to vision problems, but I had LASIK in September, 2001, and it's the best move I've ever made. I went diving again on my honeymoon, and would like to get underwater as often as possible again. That doesn't happen nearly often enough.
I fix computers. Both as a job (for a great company called Oracle Americas), and because it's fun- my dad makes amazing things out of wood, my mom paints & sings, I like to bolt pieces of silicon together and play games on them. It's all in the creative instinct, I tell ya.
I read online comics. Most of them are linked to on the "comics" page. Read more about them, and how I got into them, there.
What else? It's been almost 20 years since I graduated high school, and I'm working on collecting some of the old friendships I had back then. It's kind of interesting seeing what everybody else is doing.
Tell ya what. Why don't you take a look at some of the links I've collected over the years? I think most of them still work; I'm checking them as I have time.
Speaking of links, here's one to the main fcac.org page. If you're shopping for an ISP, they've got some great rates... and if you live in Fairfax County, VA, it gives you Public Access television rights.
